Child Labour

No child labour recruitment shall be practiced in Zip Industries Ltd.The minimum age for recruitment for all levels of employees shall be 18 years and above. This is evidenced through certificate of age proof, school records, voter identification card or certification by the Medical officer. Adherent to all legal compliance.

Forced Labour

Zip Industries Ltd shall not engage or support forced labour practice. Zip Industries Ltd does not insist employees to lodge any identity papers such as original age proof certificate, passport, educational qualification certificate or depositing money upon commencing employment with the Company. The Company does not support large and long running loans with the intention of compelling the employees to keep working. Workers will not be forced to do overtime and work on holidays without their consent.

Health & Safety

Zip Industries Ltd endeavours to ensure that a safe and healthy work place environment is provided to all employees of the Company by providing the information, training and supervision to achieve this. Our organisation shall take adequate proactive steps to prevent accidents and injuries related to the production floors by adhering of all related legal compliance. The respective Head of the Department is directly responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees at their workplace is maintained.

Freedom of Association

ZIP INDUSTRIES LTD Zip Industries Ltd recognizes the right of employees to form associations and join unions of their choice. Collective bargaining shall be the principal means of residing on the terms and conditions of the employees in the factory. Receiving and addressing of grievances shall be as per the Company Standing Orders.

ZIP INDUSTRIES LTD Zip Industries Ltd is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining its control of needle and sharp objects program and ensuring that our products comply with Children’s safety requirements. Zip Industries has a ‘ZERO’ tolerance for needles in products. Finished Zippers, Slide fasteners and Zipper rolls supplied by us are ‘Needle Free. See full declaration here.
